بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ 1 Bismi'l-la̍hi'r raḣmaa̍ni'r-raḣiymi In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ 2 a̅lḣamdu lillahi rabbi'l ʒ̇aa̍lamiyna [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ 3 a̅'rraḣmaa̍ni'r-raḣiymi The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ 4 Maa̍liki yawmi'd-diyni Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ 5 "iyyaa̅ka naʒ̇budu wa"iyyaa̅ka nastaʒ̇iynu It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ 6 Ihdinaa̅'ṡ-ṡiraa̍ṫa'l mustaqiyma Guide us to the straight path -
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ 7 Ṡiraa̍ṫa'l-lathiyna "anʒ̇amta ʒ̇alayhim ġhayri'l maġhdhuwbi ʒ̇alayhim walaa̅'dh-dhaa̅liyna The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
